  • Overview

    Pathfinder Development is excited to announce an opening for Centralized Sales Coordinator. This position would assist with a variety of duties in coordinating group sales for all Pathfinder managed hotels. The Centralized Sales Coordinator will report primarily to the Revenue Manager with other supervision from the Pathfinder Management team. This position is based at Pathfinder’s Corporate Office.

    Responsibilities

    • Negotiate guest room blocks and function space with the primary focus being on the SMERF Market Segment.
    • Follow up with leads generated through Pathfinder’s Sales Mining Program.
    • Develop sales leads through maintaining awareness of present guests, research of Local publications LinkedIn, Bid clerk, Buzz file and other applications.
    • Coordinate rooming list and manage cut-off date.
    • Manage and respond in a timely fashion to ALL incoming Leads (i.e. Hotel Planner, Meeting Broker, ACVB etc…) most leads in 4 business hours or less, all within 24 business hours.
    • Assists with sales plan by researching competition, events coming to the city and monitoring areas of opportunity.
    • Prepare and send out all direct mail projects, invitations, sales packets and collateral to potential Accounts /clients.
    • Create Sales Proposal, BEO’s, Group Agreements, and any other necessary correspondence.
    • Maintain good rapport with clients at all times.
    • Ensure that all appropriate departments are updated on group information.
    • Manage and input all account information and contacts in Sales Pro.
    • Participate in weekly Sales and Revenue Meetings (SRM).
    • Manage group inquiries, make single reservations and changes to rooming list.
    • If requested, provide pick-up reports and rooming list to all group clients.
    • Participate in regular sales blitzes in order to qualify new clients.
    • Assist in planning and executing annual Open Houses.
    • Maintain knowledge of hotel property, hotel staff, hotel amenities and hotel surroundings (i.e. mall, restaurants).
    • Administrative sales functions such as Sales Pro traces, production profile, Sales and Revenue Meetings, and other items as needed.
    • Assist Pathfinder management team with occasional projects.
